I purchased this product to get away from windscreen mounting & also needed the SatNav to be closer to view for navigation at road junctions.The TomTom clips securely into the base of the Beanbag and due to the weight & large base does not move at all on my Golf dash in normal driving,there is a tag at the back to attach to a self adhesive clip you can put on the dash to stop lateral movement but I have not used it.You have much more choice of correct positioning to suit than using the windscreen sucker (which does fall off!)and its closer to enable you to tap in your route,better for you shorties!! Recommended

I saw the ad for this product in the Sunday times, a couple of months ago. I am able to lodge the beanbag in a recess on my dashboard. It saves all the sucker marks on the windscreen. I simply take the beanbag+tomTom and put both in the boot, between calls. I am very pleased, as I need the TomTom to find places but hate the mess on the windscreen.So would recommend this product.

This is a great item stays exactly where you place it. not as bulky as a lot we looked at, so that is another plus.

This makes installing and removing my tom tom a doddle. it's so much easier than fixing to the windscreen where I would almost inevitably pop the tom tom off the mount. It fits easily into the glove compartmet (weighs a ton so you won't want to carry it around for long)
So if you have flat area on your dash and you struggle with setting up the windscreen mount get one you won't regret it
